If you make your gift through a Donor-Advised Fund and wish to partake in the membership benefits, you are required to "pay as you go." Donors will find an insert with payment information in each event invitation and will be asked to pay the per-person value for each event. Mount Auburn's endowment covers only a fraction of our expenses. Leadership donors of $1,000 and higher, who comprise the 1831 Society, lead the way in keeping our cemetery, gardens, arboretum, and outdoor museum a beloved respite from hectic, modern life.
